Parties for Jesus
BPfJ started in 2004 in two communities, under 20
children, with coloring books and hats and gloves to
give as gifts and has grown dynamically from there.
We now see approximately 400 children.
BPfJ
is a great time of year for us. We are able to go
back to communities that we are only able to see in
the summer and reconnect with the children we met in
the summer. And since who doesn’t like getting a
gift, we also meet many new families and children.
You may have noticed that I said families, that is
because we are seeing many new open doors by
reaching out to the parents at Christmas time. Most
parents are amazed and so grateful that someone
thought about them and gave them a gift too.
If you want to help, you can donate items that we
can give away (new please), make shoe box gifts, or
support us with your funds. We travel thousands of
miles to reach all these children, and as you have
probably guessed, that means lots of gas. So that we
can get all organized and geared up in time for the
ministry that the Lord has given us, if you are
sending box gifts or items, we do request that you
have everything to us by November 1, 2009. Thank
you.
