Eastern Sierra Bible Camp

Once a year we start with a Church, a community center, and a lot of hard work and make camp. Everything from setting up tents for 100 people, to swimming pools, shower contraptions, to a place to wash dishes. But the best part about camp is providing a place for our children to come and learn more about who God is and what living for Him looks like.

We try to keep camp affordable, but even still, many children don’t have the money to attend. Scholarships are available for those in need upon request.

If you would like to participate in the ministry of Eastern Sierra Bible Camp, there are various ways to do so! Please see below for further details, or view the printable version here. If you have any questions, please contact Larisa Craig.

Help Needed!

It has been amazing to watch the Eastern Sierra Bible Camp grow over the last few years. The number of tents that we set up has grown as the number of kids has grown; however I find the most joy in seeing the hearts of children and the adults who serve mature in Christ. We have come to the conclusion that when it comes to setting up for camp we are a little under staffed and then exhausted before camp ever begins. What I am asking for is YOUR help. We are inviting all churches to partner with us in a series of pre-camp workdays. All work days will begin at 9am and end by 3pm—we will provide lunch and can use any and all hands.

Work Days Saturday, July 25th/Friday, July 31st/ Saturday, August 1st

Last year after careful calculations we came to the conclusion that with the bare essentials camp costs $72 per person who attends. We in the past have not charged staff for attending; however then we struggle to keep up with nonpaying campers. We have been receiving a $1000 gift from an AMF donor—however that gift will NOT be made this year due to their loss of income. We are trying to cut costs but not sure how. One idea mentioned was to give churches the opportunity to donate items, such as, food or paper products that could be added to a personal shopping cart and then dropped at the local church. If you or your church is interested in helping in this way we would need to have all items by July 27th so we could then purchase whatever else was needed. Thank you so much for partnering with us in whatever way you can.
